Bad Lula Potholders Giveaway

Sorry but this contest ended on Monday Feb 16th. WindyCindi was the lucky winner! Stay tuned for future giveaways and specials!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
What did I do with the horribly small Bad Lulu block that was supposed to be for my Lula quilt? I made it into a potholder and used a coordinating fabric for another one, forming a complete set!
And since I don't need them I'm offering them up as a giveaway!
Probably Lula (sidekick extraordinaire from the Stephanie Plum books by Janet Evanovich) never cooks, not when Cluck in a Bucket is right down the street! But if she did, she would surely use diva potholders like these!
These potholders are made from 100% cotton, quilt quality fabrics. They have 2 layers of Warm and White cotton batting in the middle making them just thick enough that you won't burn your hands and thin enough to be able to wrap around pots coming out of the oven without being cumbersome! They are a whopping 8.5" square (because Lula's not a small woman and would want to use voluptuous potholders) with a hook on one corner if you need to hang them. They have been machine quilted in a random wavy line pattern and machine bound for durability. They are 100% machine washable!!
All you need to do to enter to win is follow these instructions:
First entry: Leave a comment on THIS post telling me what your favorite item is from my etsy shop! Also leave your NAME and e-mail address (in blahblah AT somewhere DOT com format to stop spammers from spidering this page and getting your address) or etsy address so I can contact you.
Second entry: Recommend a book for me to read!
Third Entry: Post about this giveaway on your blog and link to it!
Fourth Entry: Follow my blog!
Note: people who don't leave me their email or etsy shop addresses so I can contact them won't be entered! I don't have time to try to hunt you down, so follow the directions! : )
Contest starts today, Monday Feb 9th and ends Monday Feb 16th!
Drawing will be at random and the winner will be announced and contacted on the 16th. If I haven't heard back from them within 7 days a new winner will be chosen, again at random.
Disclaimer: Having and using potholders doesn't give you super powers. If you hold a hot pan long enough, even with these potholders, you will eventually burn your hands. Use common sense when cooking. And fry some bacon while you're at it.
  24. If you like the Stephanie Plum books you will like anything by Kate Wilhelm. There is sort of an order to her books - they are all about a lawyer and the people who work for her. Very good reads.
