Today's block was flying geese, laid out three in a row instead of an actual square block. A row of geese didn't fit my plans. I got bored. Behold!
THE DRUNKEN IRISHMAN:
It's loud. It's obnoxious. It's a little wibbly. It's tipsy. It's better slightly contained (see the little bitty borders?)
So maybe there is a more traditional block called Drunken Irishman, but that's what I'm going with. I took the Flying Dutchman block and I screwed it up. I love it. I can't wait to put it in a quilt! St Patty's Day, here I come! I can smell the corned beef and cabbage. I can taste leftover corned beef stew! I'm suddenly very hungry. Have a great day!
