Children's Museum

We had an outing today. A friend of mine has two children the samme ages as mine and she asked me on Wed. if I wanted to take the kids to the Children's Museum in Oak Ridge. I was all for it; she said her son really enjoys it and I remember my goddaughter used to love going too (although I had never been.) I talked to Mom and sh said her kids would like it too. So there we were, 3 of us with 8 kids in tow. We looked like a school class taking a tour! The kids really had a lot of fun!

I haven't gotten any sewing done today. I've gotten about 5 minutes worth of knitting done. Of course it's not anything I need knit by Christmas! I need to clean my kitchen and figure out what to start on next. Maybe that XL men's camo slipper for a gift exchange. I knit one, ran out of yarn. I picked up more of the yarn last weekend but wanted to get that Ugly Quilt top done. Which, btw, I have except I want to put some dark blue borders on it, to kind of contain the madness. It's a Non-so-Ugly Quilt now, LOL! I like it!

I hit Mr Kay's Used Books of my way to the museum. I used up the rest of the credit I had with them (for trading in books I was done with). I got One for the Money by Janet Evanovich and Death by Chocolate by Diane Mott Davidson. I've read both but it's been a while since I read Death by Chocolate so I'll read it first. It's book 2 in the Goldy culinary-mystery series and I'd like to have all of them.

It looks like I migt not get anything done tonight afterall. Hannah just woke up and is fussy and whiny and out of sorts. It may be a cuddle-Hannah and watch-Jeremiah play with his train night. Oh well. :-D
